Mandy L. Winfrey, M.D.

Mandy L. Winfrey, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Winfrey is a Wichita Falls native. She received her bachelor's degree with honors from Texas A&M University before graduating with her medical degree from UT Houston Medical School. During medical school, Dr. Winfrey had a wonderful experience with several patients on her OB/Gyn rotation which opened her eyes to this specialty. The central attraction to this field for her is the relationships that develop with the patients. It is a blessing to be able to share in the journey of pregnancy with a woman as she prepares to welcome a new life into the world. It is also rewarding to care for women at different stages of their lives, helping them to transition through each phase. "It is an honor that women will confide in me and allow me to participate in their healthcare." Dr. Winfrey went on to pursue her training in OB/Gyn at OU Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma Coty, OK. where she completed her residency in 2002. While there, she met her husband, Ryan Bannon, M.D also an OB/Gyn, and they were married in 2004. After completing residency, Dr. Winfrey relocated to Wichita Falls, eager to return to her hometown community. She and her husband have a daughter, son and a tan wire haired terrier. They are looking forward to raising their family here. Dr. Winfrey enjoys jogging, reading, spending time with her family and being involved with church and supporting the teen ministry Young Life.

Mandy L. Winfrey, M.D.

Lawrence Young, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

The "Aloha State" of Hawaii is where Dr. Larry Young was born and raised. After earning his undergraduate degree in biological science, he attended and received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Young continued with his specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. His service in the United States Air Force brought him to Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Dr. Young and his family soon found themselves enjoying "Texas Hospitality" and new friends. After leaving the Air Force, Dr. Young and his wife, Patty, decided to raise their children in Texas and he began his practice at The Women's Clinic. He comments, "The success of The Women's Clinic is due to the team approach. This style of practice encourages interaction with my colleagues who represent excellence in OB/GYN and who share the same vision for excellence in patient care." Dr. Young brings his years of experience and commitment of service to The Women's Clinic. He expresses his dedication to his profession by saying, "It is rewarding and gratifying to work in a field that brings the optimum in women's health to each patient."

Dr. Young's leadership roles in the medical community include serving as Chief of Medical Staff and President of the Wichita County Medical Society. Yearly medical missions in Guatemala with Dr. Horth and the Medical Alliance team continue to be a rewarding experience. Although Texas doesn't look anything like Hawaii, he is proud to call Texas home. He and Patty, have raised their three children here and are enjoying their new additions of grandchildren. They continue to uphold their commitment to give back to the community that has blessed their family in so many ways.
